My research is characterized by its interdisciplinary nature, blending sociology, political science, and religious studies. My main current areas of study concern the following fields:
- The ideological hybridization and evolution of terrorist and extremist threats
- Conspiracism, radical and alternative ecosystems, and regimes of truth
- Polarization, political violence, and the institutionalization of radical ecosystems
- Political and religious radicalities, particularly in the United States
